Update: Imposed Terms!

As of December 13, 2021, the College Employer Council (CEC) used a provision of the Colleges Collective Bargaining Act (CCBA) to impose Terms and Conditions of Employment on full-time and partial-load faculty. By doing so, the CEC have suspended the Collective Agreement instead of negotiating a settlement for a new one. Your Contract, Their Contract, Our Contract

If you are a full-time or partial-load faculty member at Fanshawe College, you are covered by the province-wide Academic Employees Collective Agreement (CA). It is a legally binding contract: it specifies the rights and obligations you have as a member of the bargaining unit, and the rights and obligations of your employer. The contract is enforced through legally binding dispute resolution processes including Grievance Arbitration (Article 32) and Workload Resolution Arbitration (WRA).

Printed copies of the 2017-2021 Academic Employees Collective Agreement have been distributed to all current full-time faculty. Fanshawe will provide partial-load faculty with a copy at the start of their next contract.
