OPSEU CAAT Support Staff Scholarship Fund

The OPSEU CAAT Support Division is pleased to once again offer the “OPSEU CAAT Support Staff Marilou Martin Scholarship.” This is an annual scholarship given to a full-time student in one of the 24 Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology. This year, the Division will offer five (5) scholarships worth $1,200 each.

Scholarship theme

This year’s scholarship theme is “Canadian Labour History.” The awards will go to submissions that best address the theme, specifically “a significant moment in labour history and how it changed the landscape.”

Who can apply

The scholarship is open to all full-time students at any of the 24 recognized public Ontario colleges. All applicants must be residents of Ontario and registered in one of the following Ontario Colleges: Fanshawe, Lambton, St. Clair, Niagara, Conestoga, Mohawk, Sheridan, Durham, Fleming, Georgian, Algonquin, St. Lawrence, Loyalist, La Cité, George Brown, Seneca, Centennial, Humber, Boréal, Cambrian, Sault, Canadore, Northern, Confederation.

How to apply

Applications can be submitted in any of the following forms:
• a poem
• a song
• a 500-word written essay
• a video (2 minutes in length)
